About Us
Art In The Paint is a nonprofit committed to renovating basketball courts and promoting a sense of belonging in the community. It aims to create a hallmark of public art that it is accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status.
Everyone is welcomed to view the art in the courts and participate in the community events. No tickets are needed nor do you have to dress up to view it; making its influence universal.

Marrying great artwork with sport and community
Our goal is to transform these courts from overgrown, rundown eyesores into something useful, beautiful that the community can have pride in. The art promotes meaningful change from the various systemic and human rights issues that plague the world today.
Plan.
We begin by identifying potential areas and spaces, setting a budget and raising the needed capital.
Paint.
We look for partners to support the project. We start with resurfacing the court to fill in any uneven asphalt and cracks. Most importantly, we work with a local artist to design the artwork.
Play.
We then partner with volunteer youth and community leaders to install the art. Once the artwork is ready we hold a ribbon-cutting event for the whole community.
